Marketing Assistant

Join an amazing Marketing team with dedicated staff determined to make a difference. The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation is looking for an energetic, detailed and creative Marketing Assistant to support the Marketing department in its primary and fundraising campaign management programs to advance our mission: To cure Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases. 


  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and manage the coordination of the department’s workflow
  • Support the marketing department in implementing various project management tasks
  • Coordinate marketing project plans and help manage the day-to-day development by working with cross-functional internal teams, external teams, and vendors
  • Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings, campaign performance, etc.)
  • Assist in the organizing and development of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns including emails, landing pages, and online advertising.
  • Help develop and schedule content to execute the social strategy for fundraising events; monitor results from paid ads
  • Support copy development for monthly for national & chapter fundraising and awareness building event e-newsletters
  • Communicate and route various campaigns in production throughout various departments for approval/feedback


  • Proven experience as a Marketing Assistant managing high volume work flow and time bound campaigns
  • At least one year of continuous experience as a Marketing Assistant (while working for one company)
  • Good understanding of office management and marketing principles
  • Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
  • Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects and manage results
  • Working ability to assist in copywriting. HTML and graphic design experience a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and marketing computer software. Online applications a plus (CRM tools, Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Exquisite communication and people skills
  • Familiarity with any or all of the following is a plus: Hubspot,  Hootsuite or other social media management software, Mailchimp, Optimizely, Luminate Online/Convio CMS system
  • 4-year college degree, Non-Profit, health related, connection with our mission or relevant field is a strong advantage.
